Clement is a seasoned enterprise development practitioner specialising in economic inclusion and sustainability practices. He implements initiatives that create an enabling environment to create shared value. Creating shared value happens when corporations thrive, and stakeholder communities have a stake in that success. He also has a special interest in creating a collaborative environment for South African SMMEs and their international counterparts. He has led a trade mission from South Africa to the third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in Changsha City, China and is a member of the Association of International Business Officials (AIBO) in Beijing.
He is the Executive Head of Economic Inclusion and Sustainability at Property Point. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences-Financial Accounting (UNISA), a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences Honours-Management Accounting (UNISA), a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice (Henley Business School) and a Master of Philosophy-Business management-Responsible Leadership (University of Pretoria). His master’s dissertation title was “Confronting the economic inclusion of previously marginalised enterprises in construction projects” and he applied autoethnography as a research method for the study.
