The CEO of the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP), Kululwa Muthwa, says that South African property stakeholders need to collaborate more in order to drive meaningful transformation of the country’s residential property sector.

Residential property development in the Western Cape has been outperforming Gauteng since 2017, according to Lightstone Property, with nine out of the top ten suburbs in each province home to affordable or entry-level housing – with exceptions in both provinces being estates, Midstream in Gauteng, and Burgundy Estate in the Western Cape.
