Carel is the CEO of Divercity Urban Property Group – a leading developer of, and investor in well-located affordable rental housing in South Africa. Divercity owns and manages roughly 7,000 apartments and has over 2,000 new affordable apartments currently in development in Sandton and Cape Town. Carel holds a Masters in Finance from the University of Cambridge where he was a Chevening scholar and has a professional background in corporate finance.
